DTS Tension System climbing shoes employ contrasting tension on either side of the shoe to drive power toward the big toe. Ultralight microsuede upper with a single strap closure for easy, one-hand adjustments. Scarpa M50 rubber is their softest-rated rubber to follow the natural curves of the foot for comfort across the upper and toe-patches. PAF Heel system interrupts the tension-rubber with a softer rubber to reduce pressure across the Achilles tendon. Holes at the side indicate the amount of tension applied: One hole indicates light tension. Two holes indicate mid tension. Three holes indicate strong tension. 1.0 mm Flexan midsole. 4 mm S-72 rubber outsole is a premium rubber with a lower durometer - indicating a softer flexion - that improves surface contact and stickiness without sacrificing durability.
