The Scarpa Scarpa indoor climbing shoes are designed for the beginner to intermediate climber. Featuring a roomier toe box and a softer, clinging rubber, these climbing shoes are meant to improve comfort during extended climbing and bouldering sessions. DTS Tension System climbing shoes employ contrasting tension on either side of the shoe to drive power toward the big toe. Ultralight microsuede upper with a single strap closure for easy, one-hand adjustments. Scarpa M50 rubber is their softest-rated rubber to follow the natural curves of the foot for comfort across the upper and toe-patches. PAF Heel system interrupts the tension-rubber with a softer rubber to reduce pressure across the Achilles tendon. Holes at the side indicate the amount of tension applied: One hole indicates light tension. Two holes indicate mid tension. Three holes indicate strong tension. 1.0 mm Flexan midsole. 4 mm S-72 rubber outsole is a premium rubber with a lower durometer - indicating a softer flexion - that improves surface contact and stickiness without sacrificing durability. Last: FKJ. A slightly downturned last with a slightly asymmetric fit. Vegan climbing shoes due not contain any materials sourced from animals or that utilize any kind of animal testing.
